As you can see raised garden beds solved my problem of my tomatoes drying because they were water logged. However as my luck would have it I no longer seem to fix one problem and I have another.

Note the brown paper bag over the green tomatoes. It seems that the local birds are watching my tomatoes as well because as soon as they get a bit of color they are feasting on them.

Growing vegetables especially tomatoes certainly tries one's patience at times but the taste and texture of home grown tomatoes and other vegetables is well worth the effort.
